Steel Speed Crane Rentals – A division of Steel Speed, we’ve been serving Sault Ste. Marie and Northern Ontario since 1995. Our Cranes come with certified Crane Operators from the International Union of Operating Engineers. Our staff are knowledge, experienced, and safety is our number one priority. When it comes to crane or boom truck rentals, we’ve got you covered. We also provide Bare Rentals, as well as rigging rentals. We provide a wide variety of Crane Rentals from 26 ton to 165 ton capacity for all your lifting needs. Our fleet includes All Terrain, Rough Terrain, and Truck mounted Cranes, Standard Boom Trucks, and much more equipment and rigging to assist you on any project.

STEEL SPEED ERECTORS

Not only do we offer quality Crane and Boom Truck Rentals, we also have a full service steel fabrication shop. At our 10,000 square foot facility; we offer full service fabrication and can produce custom work from the smallest of ornamental gates, to the largest of structural steel beams. We have a wealth of experience with commericial and industrial fabrication. Steel Speed fabricated much of the heavy structural steel for the world headquarters for Goldman-Sachs in Manhattan, New York. This amazing skyscraper is only a short distance from the old Goldman-Sachs offices at the World Trade Center. (See image above, of the site overlooking Ground Zero) It is 228 metres (749 feet) high and has 44 stories, making it one of the main features of the Manhattan skyline. It was completed in 2009 and the building covers 1.5 million square feet of floorspace, and is home to approximately 9000 employees. The final cost is estimated at over $2 billion.
